I found a nice website that converts animated GIF images, so I took the old image of Octo001, cropped it a bit and converted it to WebP in 3 sizes of 1080, 2160 and 4320 pixels high. The new Playtoon (cover of a non-existent magazine) is out now, a great artwork by PhillipThe2 (harmless version).

The same pose is currently used in a strip game on X-Twit. I can't follow it, I'm not registered there, but Phil promised to send us all versions of Kim when the game is over.

It's Moon Pie throwing season!

Although New Orleans had the first organized Mardi Gras in 1699, four years before Mobile, Alabama (pronounced Moe-Beel), Mobile had the first formally organized parade in 1830. Flinging Moon Pies from the parade floats in Mobile didn't become a thing until after 1950... it never really caught on in New Orleans. Along with the usual assortment of beads, doubloons, candy, and other trinkets... you are, however, more likely to be struck by flying women's undergarments along St Charles Avenue in New Orleans than you are on Government Street in Mobile. Ask me how I now. :P

Oh, speaking of a lack of undergarments, someone needs to tell Ann that the krewe is supposed to throw beads -from- the float... not have them thrown -at- it.
