The good news: To find out how the Shotcut software works, I added some sound to "Rufus and the Diving Board" [KiBunch003]. It's not perfect and it could be much better, but with some sound it works better than mute. Now available for my supporters here. It will not be available in the public lair because it's more of a test. The bad news is that this software didn't accept the 4k version (it cut the length to 4 seconds instead of the full 8 seconds) and doesn't show any indication that it can edit and produce 8k videos at all. In other words, I don't want to use it because I promised to make creations up to 8k in size. So there is nothing left but to look for another video suite.

And again, I want to interrupt the scheduler for an animation, but this time I want to try a short movie with sound, and that's not as easy as I first thought.

I have transcript files from the KP series and was looking for simple and short sounds that Kim made, like "Aaah!" or "Ooh!". Well, there are a few (I haven't gone through all of the files and listened to all of the episodes yet.), but now that I would need the pure sound of the language, I realize how much background music is in this series, and mostly at the wrong time for my project. Many will say "so what, get help from AI" and they are right. If I had a great sound that I could use and needed to remove the music, I could use an AI program to just remove the unneeded sounds. Well... in theory. I haven't tested it yet. I could also take some spoken text from other series or movies, the only important thing would be the recognizable voice of Kim, but that would take time, a lot of it, and I don't have it. Searching takes a lot of time.

If I can't find any, or it doesn't work with Kim, I will try "Phineas & Ferb" and the voices of Stacy and Vanessa.

So if YOU have any sound files of Kim, or Stacy and Vanessa, without background noise or music, call me right away!

Creating a comic page sometimes requires making corrections on finished frames, this happens often enough, mostly because I made some mistakes. I had to make some corrections on frame 7 (the guest character) and suddenly nothing could be corrected anymore, the frame was frozen, even the backup files had this error, so it must have appeared long before.

Not much has changed with Inkscape, currently there are still more than 2.9k issues to work on, almost every day a new version is released, which mostly brings new bugs. The management is still unable to organize all the work on it. I'm working with version 1.4, but there's already a newer version available, but it runs even worse (besides the fact that the new version destroys all old user settings). It's a pain to work with. The only good thing about it is that it's freeware, but that's about it.

It is very unwise to keep adding new gimmicks that hardly anyone needs or wants, instead of fixing ALL the real bugs first. Sounds like newbies who want to get applause for the new stuff, but forget about the thousands of bugs.

My respect to the programmers who do nothing but correct the bad stuff of their colleagues and perform a Sisyphean task.

Sometimes nothing goes the way you want it to. A few days ago I wanted to post something, I typed and typed, added a picture and poof, everything was gone, no idea why. Because it was late and I was tired, I didn't try again. Sorry for the wait. I just wanted to tell you that I had to add four tiny frames to frame 7, called 7a through 7d. And frame 7b was something that didn't want to work at all. The first draft was for the bin, as was the second, and the version you get was the best I could do. You'll get this pose, which is just a tiny frame in the comic, in 6 versions (futa warning!), one of which will be used in a 720p version for advertising.

About jAlbum, the software I use for the lair, I can't update it anymore, the license has expired, it's been running for a year now and I can't afford the license renewal. At the moment it is running and I hope that there will be no bugs in it.
