Only someone who hasn't been following this blog will wonder why it took so long to get this result, nothing happens in 37 seconds except for Kim's blinking eye. And I can't even say how long the finished movie will be or how long it will take to make.

The disclaimer at the beginning is spoken by AI Kim. The problem with using AI voices is that I can't afford a really good AI service. The free text-to-speech process doesn't have any way of influencing the speed, emphasis or emotions, and this "AI" still makes a lot of mistakes, it's still at the beginning of this technique, so currently it's just "take it or leave it". I will probably try to record my own voice which will then be transferred to Kim's or Ann's voice, maybe that will be more what I need for this short movie. After all, I want to let her say what the situation calls for, and I don't want to change the whole story to fit what I already have on voice samples.

The first 18 seconds are now finished. Platinum supporters can find the video (in 8k) in the WIP folder. The next step will be Kim sitting in front of the TV, seen from behind. I haven't decided yet what she will wear. How long will this short movie be when it is finished? I really can't say. I have the plot in my head, but I don't know how many scenes there will be. As mentioned before, there will be some spoken words by Kim and Ann, filtered by an AI from some KP episodes, the original music has been removed. That's the only time I use AI. Unfortunately, I can't afford an AI that makes a familiar voice say what I want, so I'll try to add the text I already have.

For zooming in and out and panning shots I needed help and found it in Pencil2D, a freeware for 2D animations. The main application for editing this project is Shotcut, freeware as well. I will have to check the sounds again later on, my headphones are broken, in time after two years of use.

Currently I'm still testing, but you can already take a look at the beginning here, in 2k (this link is valid only temporary). When the movie is finished, I will release it a month later in 720p.

It just wouldn't leave me alone, so I put more effort into making "Rufus and the Diving Board" sound for all sizes. It was a really confusing task and after many attempts I managed to create video files in much smaller file sizes. So I was wrong about Shotcut, it works, even with tiny bugs. A big help was the converter.app, without their help this wouldn't have been possible. The 8k version is now only 4.5 MB instead of more than 20 MB, but with a slight loss of image quality. I hope you don't mind and still like it.

This file is now available in the Special Folders for supporters, in 2k (Silver, 1080p height), 4k (Gold, 2160p) or 8k (Platinum, 4320p) size depending on the tier. A small 720p version will be used for promotional purposes.

The good news: To find out how the Shotcut software works, I added some sound to "Rufus and the Diving Board" [KiBunch003]. It's not perfect and it could be much better, but with some sound it works better than mute. Now available for my supporters here. It will not be available in the public lair because it's more of a test. The bad news is that this software didn't accept the 4k version (it cut the length to 4 seconds instead of the full 8 seconds) and doesn't show any indication that it can edit and produce 8k videos at all. In other words, I don't want to use it because I promised to make creations up to 8k in size. So there is nothing left but to look for another video suite.

For Supporters: ClubBanana003 is not a new work, but the first of the Monique animations to be created with a vector graphics program. I corrected her boobs, they move a bit better now, and I fixed some other bugs as well. Now as an animated WebP file in 2k, 4k and 8k format in the Special Folders.
