I'm still trying to find a halfway functional older version of Inkscape. It is quite a drama, but not only this application is causing problems, it seems that a lot of freeware is going downhill. I even have problems with XnViewMP or even my Xubuntu OS. It looks like all these programmers are not motivated anymore. I can't support them because I'm poor, and if something doesn't work the way it should, I won't support it.

Scene 2 brings us into Kim's living room where she is watching TV. In this scene, she will be wearing her pajamas. The next thing I'm going to do is dress her, and then the first 18 seconds won't be changed.

I had so much trouble with Inkscape that I switched back to version 1.2, which also has some bugs, but they are not as bad.

The first 18 seconds are now finished. Platinum supporters can find the video (in 8k) in the WIP folder. The next step will be Kim sitting in front of the TV, seen from behind. I haven't decided yet what she will wear. How long will this short movie be when it is finished? I really can't say. I have the plot in my head, but I don't know how many scenes there will be. As mentioned before, there will be some spoken words by Kim and Ann, filtered by an AI from some KP episodes, the original music has been removed. That's the only time I use AI. Unfortunately, I can't afford an AI that makes a familiar voice say what I want, so I'll try to add the text I already have.

Like the animations I made before, this one will be in 720p (public version), 2k, 4k and 8k format. Right now I'm still working on the animation of Shaniqua Chulavista, the dressed version. When this is done, I will have to put her on Kim's TV in the living room. Dressing her, all 28 frames, is a monotonous job and my health won't let me work on it as much as I'd like. I really can't say how long it will take because my health is breaking this project and I have no experience with such a long project. Time will tell.

The version of Inkscape I have been working with is now called the "stable" version (1.4) and the current development version is 1.5. and I tried the latest version. Bad idea, very bad. To make a very long story short: It killed my text of the actual working file for the Melissa comix. I had to use all my experience to get at least the speech bubbles back, the text has to be retyped from scratch.
